Annie epitomizes the fearless side of the cane corso. She is always the first one to head to the fence or the front door when someone comes to visit. She takes protecting her family seriously. I never have to worry about Maria when Annie is travelling in the car with her. I pity the fool that would try to carjack Maria. He'd be looking for a new ride before he could even get his butt in the car!
Maria picked Annie from Amarie's first litter. There was just something special about Annie. She always had a sparkle in her eye and was so intense and alert. She was a very dominant puppy and that carried over as she got older. She could be pig-headed when she wanted to be and Maria worked a long time getting her properly trained. Two thick headed bitches squaring off is always a hell of a show! Annie lost the battle of wills and she is now one of our most obedient dogs. The reward was worth all the effort. What a fantastic dog. We love her dearly.
She is now enjoying her retirement. She has house privileges and gets to swim in the pond just about every day. She's a very happy dog and we hope she gets to enjoy her Florida paradise for a long time to come.
